My Generation (ABC) “What a difference ten years can make. In 2000, a documentary crew follows a disparate group of high schoolers from Greenbelt High School in Austin, TX as they prepare for graduation, then revisits these
former classmates ten years later as they return home to rediscover that just
because they’re not where they planned doesn’t mean they’re not right where
they need to be.
These students couldn’t wait to graduate and head out into the real world. But
the world they were entering got very real very fast. As these classmates
return home to revisit their old hopes for their future, they’ll discover that,
even if you don’t get exactly what you thought you wanted out of life, it’s not
too late to get what you need.
My Generation stars Michael Stahl David as Steven, Kelli Garner as Dawn,
Jaime King as Jacqueline, Keir O’Donnell as Kenneth, Sebastian Sozzi as Falcon,
Mechad Brooks as Rolly, Anne Son as Caroline, Daniella Alonso as Brenda and
Julian Morris as Anders.
My Generation was created and written by Noah Hawley (The Unusuals,
Bones), who is also an executive producer, along with Warren
Littlefield, Henrik Bastin, Peter Magnusson and Martin Persson. Craig Gillespie
directed the pilot. The project is from ABC Studios.” From the show’s Web site.

Defenders (CBS) “THE DEFENDERS is a drama about two colorful Las Vegas defense attorneys who go all-in when it comes to representing their clients. Nick and Pete are the local
go-to guys with an eclectic client list who are still looking to hit their own
jackpot.

Leading the law firm of Morelli & Kaczmarek are Nick Morelli, an earnest, hard-charging attorney who represents his clients to the best of his ability, no matter how big or small the case; and his partner, Pete
Kaczmarek, whose passion for the law is matched only by his love of fast cars,
beautiful women and expensive clothes. Joining them in their growing law
practice is new associate Lisa Tyler, an enthusiastic young attorney looking to
put her exotic dancing days behind her; and their young assistant, Zoe Waters,
a spunky and sweet ingénue who is eager to please her bosses.

While Lady Luck shines on their legal careers, the partners have their hands full when it comes to their personal lives. With Pete busy cruising the Vegas Strip for his latest romantic conquest, Nick is focused
on repairing a fractured marriage to his estranged wife and remaining present
in the life of their young son. No matter the offense, Nick and Pete aim to
prove that when the stakes are high, they’re willing to bet the house on the
clients they defend in Sin City.” From the show’s Web site. www.cbs.com/primetime/the_defenders

The show is set to air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. central beginning Sept. 22, 2010.

Outsourced (NBC) “From writer Robert Borden (The Drew Carey Show) and director Ken Kwapis (The Office) comes a comedy where cultural differences are a novelty.

Mid America Novelties sells products like whoopee cushions, foam fingers, and wallets made of bacon. Yes, this is the stuff upon which the American way of life is built, but try explaining that to someone who
lives on the other side of the world.

Well, that’s exactly what Todd Dempsy must do when he’s sent to run the company’s call center in India. Talk about culture shock, and not just for Todd’s employees. While Todd has to teach them how to make the
up-sell to the Deluxe Twin Beer Helmet, he’s going to have to adapt as well.
Like in a country where cows are sacred, perhaps you don’t order a double
cheeseburger.

Wish him luck. Or as they say in India, Saubhagya.” From the show’s Web site. www.nbc.com/outsourced

The show is set to air Thursday, Sept. 23, at 9:30 p.m.

Hellcats (CW) “Marti Perkins’ (Alyson Michalka) plan was to get through Lancer University on her scholarship, go to law school, and leave Memphis and her hard-drinking mother behind to start a new life as an attorney. Instead,
Marti’s scholarship gets cancelled and her mother “forgets” to tell her. Out of
options, Marti finds herself fighting for a spot on the Hellcats - Lancer’s
legendary cheer squad - and for the scholarship that comes with it.

The squad needs a new member when the beautiful Alice Verdura (Heather Hemmens) is injured, and Marti’s fierce style, soulful moves and gymnastic elegance win her a place on the team, despite an ugly encounter
with Savannah Monroe (Ashley Tisdale), a petite and peppy Texan who ends up
being Marti’s new roommate.

Marti instantly hits it off with her new squad partner, the charming and extremely athletic Lewis Flynn (Robbie Jones), and their budding friendship causes alarm bells to go off for Lewis’ ex, Alice.

Overseeing all the practices and personal drama is former Hellcats star and current coach Vanessa Lodge (Sharon Leal), whose job is on the line unless the squad wins the upcoming nationals. Just like Marti, Vanessa’s
future is riding on the Hellcats ascending to the very top of the fiercely
competitive world of college cheerleading.” From the shows Web site.

“Robert,” living a second life with his sweet, naive girlfriend, LINDSAY
(Eloise Mumford, “Mercy,” “Law & Order: SVU”).
