TAVANI’S GRILLED ASPARAGUS



1 lb large fresh asparagus, cut to size
(small asparagus will overcook before getting charred)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Teaspoon fresh chopped garlic
Dash Monto steak seasoning
Dash grated cheese

While the grill is getting hot, add oil in mixing bowl. Drop in asparagus, add chopped garlic, steak seasoning and grated cheese. Mix to coat asparagus. Let oil drip off before placing on grill. Cook each side of asparagus for about two minutes. Once grilled to perfection, place on serving dish. Coat with melted butter and grated cheese.
Note: Make sure grill is hot before cooking. If grill is not hot the natural sugar in the asparagus will not caramelize and leave you with a boiled taste.
