The Wachovia Center has changed its name to the Wells Fargo Center, but they are still delivering loads of entertainment for you and your family. Shows are finishing up their 2010 seasons and preparing for 2011. Look forward to shows such as Cirque du Soleil, the Harlem Globetrotters, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, and Toy Story 3 in the upcoming months.

There are plenty of opportunities to celebrate for Halloween too! Media will host a Halloween Extravaganza at the Media Community Center on Oct. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Extravaganza is followed by the 46th Annual Delaware County Halloween Parade on State Street. The parade begins at 2 p.m. and features fun that the whole family can enjoy.

Other Halloween parades are taking place in Veterans Memorial Park in Ridley Park on Saturday, Oct. 23rd at 1 p.m. and in Norwood Kugler Park in Norwood on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 1:30 p.m. Visit the Haverford Community Park for “Monster Bash,” a night of fun for the whole family. The event will feature pumpkin painting, scary games, a nighttime trail walk, and roasting marshmallows around the fire. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. on October 30.
