      There are times in your life when you meet someone who makes an indelible impact on you. Lorraine DiSipio is one of those people. She has touched my life
in so many ways and the lives of so many others'.

      Lorraine has always been an open book to me. She is without a doubt one of the most generous, kind hearted souls that I have ever known in my life.
When you meet her she is the type of person who makes you feel as though
you have known her forever.

      Well, I guess I could say I have known her forever. We met on her seventh birthday. She was sitting on her front step and she was crying. It was
moving day for her. She just moved into the neighborhood. I lived around
the corner from her. I was walking down the street, I saw her crying
and I walked over to her and I ask her what was wrong. She looked at
me and she said; I miss my friends. My response was, "I'll be your
friend"! Well that day was to be the beginning of a long and an
amazing friendship.

      Lorraine has achieved a successful career as a well known doctor in the Delaware County area. She is the old fashioned country type of doctor. She has
just recently stopped making house calls with great regret. For reasons
beyond her control she had to do so. Although, I know on occasion she
still does them if an emergency calls for one.

      Beyond her call of duty as a doctor, she helps anyone who needs a helping hand-whether it is a family member or a friend. Lorraine has done things without
recognition because she isn't looking for praise; she does things because
that is who she is. She is a true humanitarian.

      I know that Lorraine has seen to it that many families have had food on their table when in times of need. If you were in need of her as a professional
and in need of her services, she would take the time out of her personal
life to see to it that your needs were met. I know that she has donated
her time where and whenever she can.

      If Lorraine could help everyone, I know she would. Dr. Lorraine DiSipio of Yeadon, Pa., deserves much more praise than I could ever give her.
There is so much more to her than I have mentioned, but I am sure she
is going to be very humble about my writing this. It is just something
I felt I needed to say.

I hope this starts the ball rolling for others to post about the John Doe's in their lives.
